Description
Night
Deepest darkness – blackest velvet
A canvas, diamond strewn
Caressed by pale moonlight
Drifting clouds crowding, shrouding
Silver lining broken, stolen
Lost, the smiling winks of stars
Churning storm of deepest silence
Thunder only felt not heard
A wall that tries to come between us
A wall of glass that wounds and splinters
if brought down by a careless word
A wall of ice that floods and drowns
if warmed by too much love
I must hold back although it pains me
I must wait and stand and watch
With patience that I do not feel
Your pain becomes mine
and I become yours
I understand and yet I don’t
I will make do with stubborn breathing
And pray once more that undeserved
I’ll see your smile again
Beautiful

Originally, the poem thingy was suppose to be on the left side of the picture, but resizing made it unreadable, so this seemed like the better option.
It showed up as a handwritten note that Quay found when looking for his car keys.
(Yeh, I could and probably should have fixed the hair around Cal's thumb, but arm went on strike. I may get back to that some day)
